CONNECTING WITH NATURE'S WONDER
About Me

As a leader, several values are fundamental to me: integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning. These values form the bedrock of my leadership philosophy and have been consistently demonstrated throughout my career. Integrity is paramount because it builds trust and credibility. In my roles as Conservatory Manager, I've upheld integrity by ensuring transparent communication with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders. I prioritize honesty in decision-making, maintaining consistency between my words and actions. This approach fosters a cohesive team environment and strengthens relationships, essential for achieving shared goals. As a third-generation horticulturist, I have a deep passion for integrating horticultural excellence with community engagement and environmental stewardship. My journey in botanical management began in childhood and has continued throughout my life. Recently, I worked with Glasshouse Management, LLC, where I fostered a hands-on approach to conservatory management, plant care, and educational outreach. This experience has given me a deep understanding of sustainable practices and the importance of fostering connections between botanical institutions and their communities. Currently, I serve as Conservatory Manager at the Donald R. and Teresa B. Caine Conservatory, where I have honed my leadership skills by spearheading transformative projects aimed at enhancing both the educational and aesthetic aspects of our facility. Through strategic planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams, we successfully revitalized exhibits and expanded educational opportunities.
